Deep in the forest of the Pine Barrens, you'll find yourself a quaint little factory town called... well. Pinesville. There really isn't much to see here, but you might want to familiarize yourself with the surroundings -- however quaint they may be.

Who knows, you might find something a little helpful within these woods.

Tired of having one dusty, cramped room to bunk in while your friends are getting murdered every night? Fret no more! Because every person is assigned to their own cabin. That's right-- their very own log cabin just for them! They're very small, and only have a cot to sleep on but hey! You're a house owner! Each cabin even has your title in big gold letters right above the door. Would you look at that.

The log walls definitely don't help the brisk chill of winter, though. You might want to invest in some firewood.

TOWN HALL

Ah yes, what every little village needs. A town hall to do your town hall-iest duties in. It's a rather fancy looking thing right in the middle of town -- for all the buildings that look run down or on the brink of collapse, this one looks.. well taken care of.

The carpets inside have an odd pattern to them, red circles at everyone's feet and an odd sense of dread hanging over anyone who steps inside.

Outside of the town hall is a bulletin board and a lovely statue of our mayor, but.. that's odd. It seems somebody went and got a little... a-head of themselves with this years election.

GRAVEYARD

Ah, yes. If there's anything the people of Pinesville respect -- it's corrupt politicians and the dead. Why else would Town Hall be smack dab in the middle of the cemetary? There are gravestones lined up on both sides of the building but.. they're all blank headstones.

DOWNTOWN

Now, if you walk south from Town Hall, you'll find scenic downtown Pinesville. There's not too many buildings to be explored, but check them out at your leisure. We've got the police station with rusted jail cells right inside the building, a clinic with.. let's hope that's rust staining the furniture and walls, a general store filled with any kinds of food or knick-knacks you could imagine, a bank that looks though it's been robbed years ago, an inn with beds nicer than the ones in your own home, a blacksmith with tools that could be useful if you wanted to built a treehouse, and a bar that has a surprising amount of alcohol still stocked behind the counter.

This is where you'll call "home", now. But be careful-- supplies are limited around these parts.

TRAIN STATION

You feel as though you can hear a train whistle far in the distance, but it never comes.

SAW MILL

Amazingly, even after all these years the wheel still keeps turning and turning. It's covered in moss and the door and windows have been boarded up for who knows how long -- but sometimes when you walk by, it feels like.... someone might be watching you from inside.
