No one goes outside of Yharnam. It's quarantined off from the rest of the world. However that still doesn't stop the people who hear of our town and come for the the Old Blood, which is known to cure any and all illnesses one may have, but hardly any of them ever actually make it out of the town and its surrounding areas alive. [The whole "become a hunter for the church if you cannot afford payment for the blood" thing is a mess. You've got completely ordinary civilians with no training going up against all sorts of beasts and losing their lives in the process.] I do believe doctors in the Church have been working on a cure for lycanthropy though, but they haven't gotten anywhere with it last I checked in with them.

[Also the... capturing people who had turned thing wouldn't really work. The Church would absolutely rather kill innocents instead of owning up to their mistakes and trying to actually help people in need.]

What are Daedra exactly, if you don't mind me asking?
