test drive
This is the official test drive for Visitants! Feel free to use this as to gather samples (8 comments from your char) or voicetest. Reserves open March 30th. Feel free to hit up our FAQ if you have any questions.
Please list your character's name (canon also recommended) in the header of your top-level prompt.
1 - Count Chocula
You find yourself awoken in a long-abandoned cabin, far too dusty for anyone's comfort and cobwebs practically coating the wall. Once you leave the cabin, you find yourself in a town in the middle of the woods that's...not looking much better. There are others here in similar situations, however, maybe you should look at them?
2 - Frankenberry
Day-to-day living in town is...simple enough. Try and escape and you'll just get lost in the woods until you find your way back. You're also a bit limited in terms of...comfort. There's not a lot here in the way of entertainment, but it seems as though you'll have enough to do in order to keep yourselves busy.
For you see, unlike other murdergames, the restaurant has been long-abandoned. While there are a limited amount of rations around the town should you scavenge, and a small supply in your room appears now and then to keep you from starving, you'll have to hunt should you want to keep hunger away. Fortunately, there are bows and arrows available...
For the less hunt-inclined members of the group, you can find something to do. Gather wood for campfires, tend to the camp, and there's a limited amount of fertile ground available for crops. Surely you can find something to do to improve life here.
3 - Boo Berry
Congrats! Somebody did a murder. Maybe it was even you. Maybe it was one of your friends. Maybe the victim was your brother. Might want to look into that, maybe?
4 - Fruit Brute
...This place is haunted. You come to this conclusion based on the fact that either you got caught during a trial, and you wake up as a ghost, or your dead friend who was killed is now floating around like it's nothing. Might have to adjust to life as a ghost.
5 - Fruity Yummy Mummy
For all the spooky prompts you wanna do that we don't have.
Keep in mind that posting in the test drive does not represent a commitment to join our game. You're welcome to play here even if you can't app. Playing here does not guarantee a slot in the game, nor does it count as a reserve.

Detective Juno Steel || The Penumbra Podcast
[Well, shit. This wasn't the first time that Juno Steel had awoken in an unfamiliar place with a familiar headache. Except, most of the time when he woke up, he actually had a small idea of where he was.
Here? He didn't have a goddamn clue. Nobody on Mars used wood for any of their construction, not when the material could be so easily eroded by the acid rain. Maybe this was some sort of weird interior room of some sort. Stumbling towards the door, Juno poked his head outside to see more trees than he'd seen all his life and what looked to be a quaint, rural town. So, yeah, definitely not Mars. If this wasn't a dream, it was one hell of a kidnapping job.]
The hell...?
[Cautiously, he made his way out into the center of town, half expecting to be jumped at any moment. If he spots anyone passing by, he'll shout at them:]
Hey! Do you mind telling me where I am? Seem to have gotten lost, oh, a few hundred thousand miles back.
2
[It was fortunate that Juno had been in quite a few life-or-death situations in the past. He could survive a little bit of hunger now and again. It was unfortunate that this particular life-or-death situation was completely devoid of any useful tech.
At least he still had his cybernetic eye--it made adapting to using the bows and arrows a little bit easier, and, if he wanted to, he could make it track any heat signatures in the woods. But the strain to pull back the string was still hell on his back muscles. How did early humans use these things?
Whatever. He was now crouching next to a tree and waiting for something to pass by. He seems to be...whispering to himself?]
Yeah, yeah. Shut up with the smart comments and let me concentrate.
[Want to bother him?]
4
[It was almost laughable that, after all these years yearning the sweet release of death, Juno wasn't even offered eternal rest. Of course not. Instead, he got to float around for all eternity and watch the people around him be complete morons. The worst part was that he couldn't do anything about it. He was stuck.
If only his secretary, Rita, could see him now. She'd get a real kick out of it, maybe try to convince him to keep doing detective stuff even after he died. 'Well, it's not like the bad guys can kill ya again, Mista Steel!'
Ever see a ghost with depression? Because now you have. The ghost of Juno Steel is lying face down on the ground, his head sort of clipping into the dirt. It's fine. Probably.]
4
I've spent thousands and thousands of years watching all these snivelling, pathetic, foolish mortals, and that's saying something!
[He's here now with some roasted fowl, watching the ghost clipping through hell itself- er, the dirt.]

John Watson | Sherlock Holmes [ACD Books' Canon]
[In a way, Watson regrets mentioning so early on that he was a doctor.
Of course, he doesn't mind helping people; He doesn't mind distributing the limited supply of medication he managed to scrounge up, and bandaging up everyone's wounds.
What he does mind is how trapped he feels. Not just in this hellish forest and the "game" their host mentioned, either. Watching others leave to hunt, with no guarantee of their safe return... Watson feels guilty for not joining them. For having to stay behind and merely hope that they won't come back with horrendous claw marks and torn bodies.
He should be out there.
He supposes he could blame Holmes for this, but truthfully, it's in his nature. He lived through a warzone, after all. He can't just sit idly by forever.
It's this line of thought that leads him to stand on the outskirts of town one morning, trying to will himself to walk away and not quite able to manage it.
Stop him? Join him? Drag yourself brutally mangled out of the forest and force him to return to work? Up to you.]
this crossover nobody wanted
--well. Not like it matters anymore.
Either way, Lestrade knows better than to stop him, which is why he does the next best thing.]
Oy! Watson!
[He shouts to him as he runs up to catch up from behind.]

uwu?
So now he's stumbled on back to the town, his sleeve wrapped around his hand in an attempt to stop the bleeding. Too bad there's no washing machines here, it'll take forever to get the stains out of his coat. Juno spots the doctor--at least, he thinks he's a doctor?
...He was thinking of just ripping off a bit of his coat for a bandage, but he should ask for help.]
Hey, you're a doctor, right? Mind helping me out with this itsy-bitsy cut I have here?
[Holds out his sleeve of blood.]

Why not?
Unfortunately, with his infamy as a book character, his status as a Heroic Spirit, and the ever looming presence of Hyde, he has merely introduced himself as Henry and said little else about himself. Best to keep himself at a distance and focus on collecting resources like firewood than to let the devil within play their captor's game.
However, his hopes of laying low and not being too much of a bother is threatened by the presence of Dr. Watson on the outskirts of town.
Concern and curiosity win over caution and concealment. Jekyll decides to calmly approach from behind.]
Doctor? What are you doing out here at this hour?

Sergeant Tibbs | 101 Dalmatians
2
[... There's a cat walking up to the area where the hunters bring the catch of the day. He has a mouse in his jaws and looks very pleased with himself as he places the mouse with the rest of today's meager catch.]
Nearly gave me the slip, he did, but I caught him in the end! He'll make a fine meal for someone, I'm sure.

Jekyll & Hyde | Fate/Grand Order
Option 1
Um, Hello?
[How did Jekyll find himself here...? It's not a summoning, he didn't see any Masters about... Possibly a lack of Servants as well, from the looks of things. He's already explored the cabin he found himself in, so the only logical thing left to do was to look for civilization outside...
In the woods.
This does not bode well at all.]
Hello? Is anyone out there?
Option 4
[It happened. The unavoidable happened. Hyde had broken loose and committed an act of murder. Now the devil's been caught, and since they share the same body Jekyll was executed with him.
As a ghost, Jekyll thought he had finally been liberated from his torment and is no longer a threat to the rest of the group.
Hyde had other ideas.
Now there's a red-eyed fellow with scruffy hair and a huge bloodstain on his shirt who is pestering the survivors.]
Hey, pal! Ya wanna see a dead guy?
4
No, thanks. [And then, muttered,] Think I've seen enough of those.

Martin Septim || TES IV: Oblivion
[Martin had been fully prepared to be kidnapped.
A grim outlook, perhaps, but though the stranger guarding him had more than proven themselves in Kvatch, he had no illusions about the persistence of assassins. To that end, waking up somewhere unfamiliar was hardly a surprise. More surprising was that he was unguarded and that the door was unlocked, though the unfamiliar woods surrounding him didn't hold enough promise to make him any less uneasy.
He's certain of very little, these days, but he knows enough to realize that escaping ought to be his highest priority. In no short amount of time, he finds himself a weapon, pulls up his hood, and begins creeping his way through the woods, slow and careful. There must be a way to a path somewhere.
At the sound of anyone approaching, he sidesteps from the tree he's hidden behind and calls out to them.]
Stop there.
[Though he tries to keep it hidden in his sleeve, it's likely fairly obvious from the awkward way he holds his arm that he has a dagger at the ready. He's better with that than with most weapons, but it's still clumsy in his grasp-- a fact that's quite clear to anyone more familiar with using weaponry. He keeps his distance, and though he's in the open his head is still partially ducked in an attempt to hide his face. His posture conveys more worry than he stern tone lets on.]
Who are you, and why have I been brought here?
2
[He very quickly finds himself at a loss of what to do; a feeling not uncommon for him as of late, it seems. He has never been a hunter of any sort, and the people here hardly need a priest (especially a priest like him). They need an Emperor even less, though that's no small relief to Martin, and he finds himself content to keep himself quiet even once he's slightly less on-edge. Others had stepped up to lead, in any case, and it's more important that he keeps himself safe. The Empire still depends on that.
He gravitates towards the fields, eventually, though they can't really be called that. Though he'd picked up little of the profession himself, his father (or the man he'd once thought was his father) had been a farmer. He knows enough to be of some help, and that's what matters at the moment.
Martin can be found on his hands and knees in the dirt shortly after reaching this conclusion, hands digging into what's available and turning it over in his fingers. After a while of this he sits back on his heels, surveying the (exceedingly limited) area of dirt around him with a displeased look and equally displeased muttering.]
This isn't enough space to feed a household, let alone a village.
wildcard
[rather do something else? go for it.]
1
[Congratulations! Martin found a cat. And scared the living daylights out of him. He's cowering in front of Martin, fur bristling and eyes wide, and seems to be frozen, unable to will himself to run.
He's been awake here long enough to not be surprised that the people can understand him, but not long enough to calm down about this situation. For all Tibbs knows, Martin's the person who kidnapped them all in the first place, and brought them to this town.

Walder | Granblue Fantasy
[Perhaps you were expecting people to approach this situation with caution and take things slowly in this situation so they don't run into danger and die. That... would be an incorrect impression when it came to one particular person here, however, as a long-haired man busts right out of the door to his cabin and... makes fingerguns.]
I don't know what you're playing at, but know this: Forest Ranger Walder will get to the bottom of this!
2
[Well... now that he's got a better idea of what the situation is, Walder is... trying to make the best of things. He's certainly not happy with the mayor's little incentive, but... hey! He's a Forest Ranger! His job is to protect people, and he'll swear on his honor that he'll do it! And to do that... well, he can do his best to provide for the other people stranded here, since he's trained in sustainable hunting and gathering herbs and berries and whatnot.
But, as the saying goes, why give them fish when you can teach them to fish? So, around a time when people are meandering through the main area of the town, he takes a stand!]
Good afternoon, everyone! Your friendly neighborhood forest ranger has a special announcement... I'm giving out ranger lessons!
2
He knows the offer is a charitable one, but he still feels foolish even responding to it, perhaps just because he knows full well it's a skill he should have picked up years ago (and could have, had he not had his head buried in books for so long). He's a bit wary about just accepting it as a result, but even then he can't fully commit to turning down an offer to learn something that might help them.]
I assume that includes hunting-- archery. [A hesitant beat.] How willing are you to teach someone who's never held a bow before?

Roadhog | Overwatch
[he's so sick and tired of this. it was like this in the outback, and it was like this here. the world is rotten and you have to fight to survive. you just hope for the little things.
this week, roadhog spends his time scavenging through some of the abandoned homes in town, rooting through every single one of them. he's careful not to damage the interiors too much, though he does strip some of walls of long-rotted wood, planning to use it for a campfire later. the group has enough shelter, and if this house goes on being unused long enough, he won't mind tearing away the rest of it.
he notices that one of the rooms is still covered in disheveled carpet - and a bit of it is sagging. he strip away the carpet, only to find what appears to be a small hidden compartment. carefully, he opens it, only to find a...rifle. and ammunition. someone here had good taste.
mako inspects the weapon, and should someone approach him, he only offers a simple one-word response when inquired about it:]
Mine.
2-b (bear hunting, graphic descriptions if the thread gets deep)
[mako's drawn to one part of the woods. namely, he's drawn to the fact that the trees in this chunk of it have the occasional bear claw here and there. tracks. it's enough to have him start a hunt here. he leaves the corpse of a beaver, one that's already been skinned, as bait. then he leaves, and checks back every couple of hours.
roadhog finds what he's looking for, eventually. a black bear is circling the corpse, protecting it from what he assumes, are other animals in the area. he remains cold and emotionless behind his mask as he draws his recently-acquired rifle, only for his concentration to be broken by another individual in the area. with gritted teeth, he speaks in a hushed whisper:]
Shut up. You'll draw it's attention.
2-a
he winds up in the same place as mako, and prompto doesn't say much, too busy looking through the cabinets for anything useful lying around. out of the corner of his eye, he sees a rifle, and prompto naturally flocks towards it. he's not gonna try to steal it or anything since mako found it first, and he closes the cabinet he's looking through to approach him. ]
Wow, where'd you--
[ mine. ...well then. prompto puts his hands up and steps back a little. ] Whoa, buddy, it's all yours! Just wanted to give it a look-see, that's all.
...Uh, know where I could find another one of those?

junko enoshima | dangan ronpa
[ ugh, what the hell? junko wakes with her head absolutely killing her, and feeling very much alive. for a few choice moments, she just lets that sink in. lets it sink in that killing her apparently did not take, and she's very very alive. and in some place she's never seen before. ]
... Ugh, nasty!! [ junko finally bursts out, and she pushes herself off the bed. her boots click on the floor, and she slams the door open-- ]
-- Ah.
[ wow what the fuck.
... anyway!! junko puts on her best face and marches right up to the first person she sees. ]
Yoohoo! Hiiii! Could you help a poor girl out? I'm reeeeeally confused!
3
[ oh... just like hope's peak. everyone is so upset, and junko? junko is absolutely elated, but of course... she's not gonna show it. she's not an idiot, after all.
off to the side, she's looking terribly gloomy... she tugs at one of her pigtails, corners of her mouth turned down. ]
oh... how terrible... why would anyone do anything like this to a dear friend? it's so... awful... such despair...
4
[ junko enoshima is dead.
but her spirit remains. maybe you're just minding your own business when she floats on through you?! oh, that can't be pleasant. ]
1
this wouldn't be the first time prompto's had to make it through a strange place on his own, so it's fine.
--but he's not alone! there's a girl with fluffy pigtails, and she looks really lost. he can't just leave her to her own devices, and she's calling out to him. ]
Huh? Oh, uh... [ he scratches the back of his head. ] Sure! But...I don't know how much help I'll be. I'm pretty confused myself.

Cheryl "Heather" Mason | Silent Hill 3
[This... is a nightmare. For a moment, Cheryl thinks she's back in Silent Hill. The town certainly looked and felt like it... but she's supposed to be free from this place! She went through literal Hell to get away from that shithole!
But as she wanders, Cheryl realizes this in fact not Silent Hill. She's not sure if she should even be relieved or not. This town is clearly abandoned, and the girl didn't have a clue how she even got here. If someone kidnapped her... they were gonna pay.
Finally she stopped in the middle of the street, cupping her hands around her mouth as she called out.]
HEY! Is anyone here!?
2
[Great... bow and arrows. Why couldn't it be a gun? At least she kinda understood how those work. Maybe Cheryl could at least use her goodish aim. She holds the bow awkwardly in her hands; it already feels bad.
She glances over to the closest person to her. Maybe they knew what to do?]
You've ever done this before?
2

flat escardos | fate/strange fake
[ flat escardos has never been prepared for anything. in fact, he went to participate in a holy grail war with about thirty minutes worth of preparation, but in that case he had his magecraft to help him out!
over here he has nothing. it's a bit depressing, really. a mage without magecraft is like...like...toast without bread! pb&j with out the pb!
but he'll try to continue on! he's not going to let himself give up so quickly just because his magecraft has been taken away. this clearly isn't snowfield, that doesn't need much explanation, and the fact he's powerless means that there's something powerful at work here.
but none of that matters--not as much as the delight flat feels when he sees someone that looks just as lost as he is! he grins, running up to them with an energy that's...probably unusual, considering the situation. ]
Are you lost too?!
2.
[ flat, having been a rich boy that's lived half of his life in a boarding school, knows absolutely nothing about hunting. hell, he barely knows anything about camping, even. the most food hunting he's done is going to the supermarket and the most camping he's done is sleeping over in svein's room.
because of that, he's trying to help out with more menial tasks. currently, he's trying to make a fire, but...it's not really working. ]
Come oooon, light up!!! Make fire!!
[ please help him. ]
3.
[ a dead person, huh?
as a mage, death is something that he should be used to. as a mage that willingly entered a holy grail war, it's definitely something that flat should be used to. but he's also the same mage that grew nervous when his servant said that they could have gone on a murder spree and the he's also the same mage that thought that he could win the war with a simple chess match.
even if he barely knew the person...it's so...sad. it's so sad to see someone die before their time. for the first time, flat isn't smiling. ]
3.
He doesn't expect to see a dead person and even worse, was when there was an announcement of sorts telling them that someone had murdered someone else. He was shaking a bit, looking a bit pale, but he manages his gaze over to the mage. ]
This ... this isn't fair.
[ He doesn't even know what else to say. Ventus has almost died so many times but it somehow none of it feels the same. This person will never see the light of day again. ]

Syaoran Li ✩ Cardcaptor Sakura
[There are so many things that are wrong with this scenario, and the fact that he couldn't sense any sort of magical power behind this was already concerning enough.
Gritting his teeth in frustration, hands balled into tight fists that his knuckles almost turn white, he decides to get up onto his feet with a hop, knowing all too well that complaining about it wouldn't help matters any. He needs to find someone- anyone, if not a way out of whatever hellhole he managed to land himself into.
He needs to get back to Tomaeda.
He needs to get back to Sakura.
That much is something he's certain about, for sure. Of course, he's making his away around in strides; running as fast as he possibly can before rounding a corner and, wellー
Let's just hope you were paying more attention than he certainly was.]
option two: no hunting for you, kid
[While Syaoran isn't exactly the happiest about being left behind, he's also fully aware that if he did go with the others to hunt, he'd be a bit of a liability. Even if he does have his martial arts, the only weapons here are bows and arrows -- things that he isn't exactly the most familiar with.
What doesn't help is the fact that by now, he's realized that he can't seem to utilize his magicーhis sword is basically permanently stuck inside his body, he supposes! Okay, cool, that's fine.
But he's still a little antsy regardless, which means that he won't be doing absolutely nothing. He definitely wants to help.
Which is why you can find him either gathering some firewood, staying a little on the quiet side.
Or maybe you're someone who knows their way around a bow and arrow and Syaoran has made the bold decision to approach as he bows from the waist down to ask, humbly:]
Please teach me how to shoot!
option three: there usually isn't any murder in a shoujo manga
[Today, luck doesn't seem to be very kind to Syaoran. Unwittingly, he's managed to find a dead body and he has to count his blessings that he isn't the one deadーbut at the same time, the entirety of it all makes him sick to the pit of his stomach, not to mention he's frozen in place.
Lips try to move, but his jaw is shut as terror takes over. It's only with the coppery smell of blood hitting his nose that the reality of it all hits him hard and he can't help but tremble at the sight.
Who could have done this? And for what reason? Syaoran doesn't understand, but he knows that he has to do something.
But all he can manage is a curse, loud enough for others to hear, almost unsuitable for a young boy's mouth as he clenches his hands into a fist.]
Damn it-!
option wildcard
[Want something else? Come at me with whatever you got!]
option one;
[ The blond-haired male lets out a noise of surprise as he flails and he's suddenly been knocked off balance due to being run into. Also, he's just woken up, so he's definitely very much out of it after having been asleep for about...give or take a very "long" time. Naturally that didn't help.
So.

Mika | Ao Oni: The Animation
[ Look, it's one thing to wake up in a dusty, creepy room you expect to wake up in. It's another entirely to get used to a whole new dusty, creepy room, especially when it comes with a whole dusty, creepy town. Mika can't help but be more than a little peeved.
With her hands clasped in front of her, this dainty high-school girl wanders about timidly, calling out: ]
Heeey, Hiroshi-kun, Takeshi! Takuro-kuuuun~! Where'd you go? Is the mansion trying a new game of hide-and-seek? [ Her face darkens and she grumbles to herself. Every word is swift and purposeful. ] Tch. Got tired of the stupid piano and dolls, did it? I'll give it tired, not good enough to solve them, am I? Rotten way to treat your heroine--
[ But if anyone approaches her, it's right back to that dainty expression. ] My! Just who are you? Did you come out to the haunted house too?
4
[ ...So this is a predicament. For the last twenty minutes, Mika's been pacing - okay, floating - above the spot she'd died at, expectantly. It's probably a problem to see her in the first place, considering, well...she's dead? She's been dead, and it was probably pretty brutal?
But no, what seems to be her trouble, what she becomes increasingly more and more distressed by, annoyed by, seems to be-- ]
C'mon, ya creepy town, gimme back my body or I'll pulverize ya!
[ So here's the bizarre sight of a ghost girl stomping and spitting furiously, as if she's trying to make invisible grape juice and generally insulting the town as if it can hear her. ]

My guess is that we've all been brought out to this spooky forest by a serial killer.

Mae Borowski | Night in the Woods
[Okay, so...]
I can't believe I'm saying this, but this place makes Possum Springs look like a godsend to live in by comparison. And that place had a cult of crazy conservative uncles living there.
[But thinking about it now, is this place we're in now the sort of thing that they had been afraid of happening to Possum Springs? Abandoned, everything boarded up or broken, haunted as all hell by the ghosts of it's past, nothing more than just...
... But then Mae immediately forgets all of that the moment she lays eyes on a bow and some arrows. And no one around to claim them.]
Um, yes? Hell yes.
[Guess who is definitely claiming that shit for herself now.]
Check me out, I'm about to win the next Starving Games... wait, how do you...
[And there goes an arrow suddenly whizzing past someone dangerously to land somewhere in the woods. Someone might want to teach her how to use a bow and arrow correctly before she puts out an eye at this rate...]
3
[So... yeah, that sure is a dead body. Didn't we talk to that guy a few days ago?]
Yeah, okay, so this looks really bad, and it is. Definitely. But don't worry, I'm an expert when it comes to corpse touching. I can help suss out some clues with a trusty tool I've got right here.
[And by that, she means a stick... that she is now poking at the corpse with. Um.]
2
[Cheryl cried out in fear, jumping back out of pure reaction. She was lucky Mae's shot was off because it wouldn't have mattered either way. The girl took a moment to catch her breath before glaring at the cat.]

Carnivac | Transformers (IDW)
[If this place had seen better days, they were long gone now. As a kidnapping location, it's either the choice of amateurs or someone who knows well what they're doing. If it's the former, things will go far more smoothly. The latter would spell all kinds of trouble, and the implications for choosing him even more so.
Skulking out from where he woke, Carnivac sniffs out his surroundings, on his guard.
Don't mind the wolf wandering around.]
3
[Carnivac can be found towards the back of the group huddled around the body as its discovered.]
How stupid...
[Is he talking about the victim, or the killer? Regardless, he growls it with considerable judgement.
As the crowd disperses, he walks up to the body, giving it a good and thorough look and sniff-over. Might as well use this body to its full investigative use.]

kaede akamatsu | dangan ronpa v3
[ Waking up in a strange cabin was certainly not what Kaede expected to wake up to. She almost immediately runs outside, and stops in her tracks when she sees that she's been dropped off in the middle of the woods. ]
W-What is this... [ As much as she wants to spend time standing and wondering what's going on, she knows she needs to find out if there are others here. So, Kaede starts to walk around looking for whoever might've also ended up here. ]
Hey! Is anyone there?
option ii;
[ She's gathered a bunch of wood for a fire but... she has no idea what to do with it. Kaede dumps it all on the ground, looking at it for a moment.
As much as she hates to ask for help for something so simple, she knows she has to. ]
Do you know how to start a fire?
option iv;
[ Never seeing the victim and culprit again was something that was hard to come to terms with, and everything that has happened still has yet to sink in. That's why when she sees someone she knows just died floating around she does a double take.
And screams. ]
W-What? How are you still here?!

[ Feel free to request/write up any of the other prompts or any other scenario you want! ]

louise belcher | bob’s burgers
[The group has just discovered the weapons shed, and honestly, your local resident fightchild couldn’t be happier. As headstrong as she is, she was almost starting to get a little worried, but this? This is a distraction.]
Uh, hello. I would like one of everything, please. Especially the mace.
[She gestures to the group of rusted maces on the wall.]
I would like two of them actually. For macechucks. Trust me, it’s worth it.
[It’s worth it.]
4;
[Louise is also crafty.
She has a small bear trap set up, with a path of rocks leading up to it. Ghost food. She’s partial to some of these ghosts, but some of them are just rubbing her the long way.
Besides, if she traps one, she can hold the ghost hostage and only let it out once she gets what she wants. Like her own ghost powers. Or actual food. Either works.]

The Narrator | The Twilight Zone | he barely counts as a character i'm sorry
[Well.
This is new.
Well, the part where he actually doesn't know where he is or what is going on is new. The whole strange new world with strange new people would hardly be a new situation for him.
Despite the newness of the situation, he seems very calm about all of this. After all, there's no point in losing his head over experiencing something new.
Even if the new thing happens to be being trapped in a desolate town with no real idea how he got there, but look, he of all people knows what happens if you lose your head over something like this.
Instead of any real investigation, The Narrator spends his first few hours just... watching people, always from a distance. You'll probably find him staring at you at some point today.]
2.
[Hunger was a thing The Narrator was not used to, as someone who doesn't normally reside in the mortal realm. It was uncomfortable and cumbersome and serves as another reminder why he's normally an observer and not an active participant.
However, he wasn't about to sit around and be a liability to the group, and he was going to go out into the forest and help hunt for food.
But when he gets there, he's just... standing in the forest with a bow and arrow, awkwardly standing as small animals run past him. While he makes no actual effort to shoot them.
It's fine he's great at this.]
3.
[Was he shocked at all when he saw a body this Friday morning? Absolutely not at all. In fact, he doesn't even seem a little alarmed as he watched the body lay in a pool of his own blood. Eerily silent.
He does, soon, start talking, however.]
Rick Sanchez, a loathsome sort, hated by many and loved by few. With his rude disregard of his fellow man, it, perhaps, is fitting that he was the first one to leave the group. But despite any relief that may come from his lose, something else has starkly come to our attention. The fact that, with his death, the end of any one of our lives is a possibility that has become all too real. Proving once again that reality may be worse than what we feared when you're in... The Twilight Zone.
[... yeah what the hell is he doing.]

John Doe | Batman: The Enemy Within
Hey, hey! Quick! Come over here!
[John immediately interrupts you in the middle of whatever you're doing, no matter how important, crucial, or life-changing it may be. The man has found an old-timey camera, and it still has some flim! He's intent on using it, and he wraps his arm around you, attempting to selfie.]
I need to capture the moment! You and me, best buds!
4.
[Rick Sanchez is dead.
...and John Doe is immediately set on pilfering through the man's labcoat, looking for any sort of resources or anything.]
Sure would suck to be this guy, am I right?
(ooc: potential spoilers for up to episode 3 of telltale batman season 2!)
5
May as well humor him. Rolling his eyes, he holds up his paw in a v-sign and poses for the camera. After holding the pose for approximately two seconds, he drops his arm at his side and tries to pull himself out of John's grip.]

2-D // Gorillaz
[It's been two days since their rations ran out, and today they decided to send 2-D out to hunt for breakfast.
There's. A lot wrong with that. First of all this man looks like a cryptid and will scare any animals away if he breathes in their direction and second of all he's... he's a wuss. And yet he sets out with a big stick in his hands, creeping around the forest looking for a deer or bear or some big animal to hunt.
He's gone for hours. Hours and when someone finds him they'll see that he's... hiding behind a tree, stick poised for combat with a little, bitty bunny eating a flower not too far away in front of him. His arms are shaking and for a split second he lifts the stick up as if he's ready to attack but. No. No he drops it again.]
I-I-I can't! I can't do this!
[His yelling causes the bunny to run away and he just deflates against the tree, dropping his weapon as he realizes that yeah. He was the worst choice for this.]
v.
[Well after an unsuccessful hunting (someone else had to take over), 2-D sits next to the campfire they had set up a couple of days ago. He looks Extremely Depressed, staring at the ground as he doodles in the dirt with his stick which is definitely too thick for this to be enjoyable in any way.
He doesn't seem to really care though, he's obviously just kind of staring into space more than anything else. Or well, maybe it's not so obvious with his black eyes..... either way, all he can think about is that rabbit he almost murdered. Poor little thing didn't do anything to deserve being killed...]
v
[Alright, maybe that was a pretty dumb question, but Miguel had to try in this hell of a ghost town. Instead of hunting, he's taken it upon himself to fix up a guitar-slash-self-defense-weapon in his spare time. It's ready, and he's idly strumming some notes as he speaks.]
Would a song cheer you up?

Armitage Hux | Star Wars
[Hux hates hunting. He's never done it before in his life, up until now, but he already knows that he hates it. The crossbow in his hand is poorly calibrated, for one. But worse than that, it's primitive. Inelegant. Messy.
Still, it does the trick; even Hux's noodle arms are steady enough to put a bolt through the eye of a rabbit, and when he picks it up by its hind legs, he makes himself stare into its face. His eyes, impossibly pale, burn with anger barely brimming at the surface at the very prospect of having to skin and clean this creature. Having to dirty his own hands.
So there he is. Staring down a dead rabbit in the middle of the woods. Is...is he crying?
Hux's head snaps up at the sound of an approach, and he sneers.]
Don't think I'm going to share.
2
I don't expect you to, but are you sure you can finish that on your own? It would be a waste.

Noctis Lucis Caelum | Final Fantasy XV
Alright... no King's Knight here, so I guess it's time to find something to do.
[ luckily, noct is used to having to rough it. thanks, gladio. your preference for camping and their hundreds of hunts have been good practice. he's weighing one of the bows in his hand, and he's got a quiver of arrows on his back. he wanders around a little bit to find someone to join him. maybe it's... you? ]
Hey. Need someone to watch your back?
[ or maybe he's out all alone; noctis is creeping along, eyes on his prey. ]
C'mon. Don't run away now, alright?
4
[ ah. it's a couple days after the trial, and noctis feels like he's being... watched...
he whirls around, looking at his surroundings. ]
Come out, whoever the hell you are!
2!
[Syaoran blinks several times, caught completely off guard by someone asking if he needs help and normally he'd refuse the help, since he doesn't know what's out there, not to mention he's not entirely confident in his own skills to do the same even though he wants to say he is, butー]
I don't mind. [he sure as hell will try, even if his answer comes off awkwardly] If that's okay.
[Nailed it.]
